What is RF PCB

What is RF PCB?

RF PCB is radio frequency printed circuit boards. also known as microwave PCB/High frequency PCB, and so on. For high frequency microwave RF printed circuit boards with improved dielectric properties. It is made of polytetrafluoroethylene, ceramic-filled fluoropolymer, or ceramic-filled hydrocarbon thermoset material.

The material has a low dielectric constant of 2.0-3.8, a low loss factor. and excellent low loss characteristics. as well as other desirable properties such as a high glass transition temperature. very low hydrophilicity, and excellent thermal stability. Because the PTFEPCB material has a coefficient of expansion similar to copper. it has excellent dimensional stability.
